Visa applications initially rejected by Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MoM) can now be appealed online. Beginning on Oct. 12, MoM is accepting appeals via the Employment Pass (EP) Online system.
The EP Online system facilitates Employment and S-Pass as well as Dependant Pass & Long Term Visit Pass applications much faster than previous options. Formerly, rejected applications could only be appealed in person or through the i-Submit portal, which allowed the submission of scanned documents.

Other requirements for appeals remain unchanged. MoM allows up to two appeals within a three-month period after the initial rejection date. After that period, if the appeals are not approved, a new application must be submitted. Appeals will be processed within approximately three weeks, depending on the complexity of the case.
