Immigration services will be encountering significant delays due to members of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs joining a strike led by Brazilian Public Federal Officers. More than 70 consulates worldwide plus Ministry of Foreign Affairs offices in Brazil are currently affected by the strike. There is currently no projected timeframe for when this strike will end, though there is a public demonstration scheduled for Thursday, June 28. In the meantime, legalization of documents in Brazil and visa stamping procedures at Consulates around the world will continue to incur significant delays.
